Mangaluru; The driver fled after trying to ram the police on duty

Mangalore: An auto rickshaw driver rammed a police vehicle and tried to ram the police rickshaw and ran away at Pumpwell check point at night.

Mangaluru Traffic South Police Station Police Sub-Inspector Sugumaran was checking with Sibandi at the pump well checkpoint.

At around 9.45 pm, the police personnel noticed an auto rickshaw speeding towards Pumpwell from Kankanadi Old Road.

He instructed to stop the rickshaw.

At this time, the driver drove the vehicle in a dangerous manner and ran into the police and rammed into the departmental highway patrol vehicle parked on the side of the road, B.C. 

Police alleged that he fled towards the road.

A case has been registered in Mangalore Traffic South Police Station in this regard.
