Bengaluru: In some schools of the city, teachers were shocked to find things like condoms, contraceptive pills, cigarettes, lighters, fevicol in the bags of the students during the bag check.
Background of the allegation of bringing mobile phones to school
When checking the bags of high school students of 8th, 9th and 10th class, condoms and contraceptive pills were found.
It has been suggested to conduct counseling for the male and female students in this regard. Some schools have specially held parent meetings and given information.
The parents were shocked to know the plight of the children and told the teachers about the sudden behavioral changes in the children.
A principal of a school said that instead of suspending the students, counseling was recommended and they were given leave for 10 days.
Rupsa President Lokesh Talikatte responded on the issue of contraceptive pills being found in children's bags, and said that children are going astray. The use of mobile phones has increased children's tendency towards immoral ideas. Children need counseling. Parents should be aware of this.
