Thirty couple free mass marriage by Muslim youth

Kushtagi: 30 new couples got married at Sarva Dharma Vivah Mahotsav organized under the leadership of Bhagat Singh Cultural Sports Organization, Banni Mahankali Seva Samiti President Wazir Gona at Bannikatte Santa Maidan here on Wednesday.
A traditional wedding ceremony was performed in the presence of thousands of people at Sante Maidan in Bannikatte through traditional Hindu rituals.
In the presence of Shri Karibasava Shivacharya of Kushtagi Maddaneshwar Mutt, 30 couples entered into a new married life as sati-patis.
At the same time, Karibasava Shivacharya Swamiji of Maddani Math, who gave his blessings, said that mass marriages should take place more often to protect the welfare of those who are suffering from financial burden and lead a comfortable life.
In recent times, the number of mass marriages is on the decline. Thus, marriages are becoming burdensome for the poor and laborers.
In such a situation, Wazir Gonala has organized a wedding program in a lavish manner to support the poor families.
