Malappuram: A woman who killed her husband four years ago with the help of her lover has been found dead.
The dead body of a woman named Saujat from Tanur was found with a shawl tied around her neck. It is suspected that she was strangled to death.
A dead body was found in her house in Kondotti. Murder is suspected.
Her lover Bashir was found to have consumed poison and is undergoing treatment at the Kozhikode Medical College and is in critical condition.

Saujat's husband Sawad was killed in October 2018. Saujat told the police that she had committed the crime to live with her boyfriend. Sawad, a fisherman, was beaten to death with Bashir's help and then his throat was slit.
