Belthangadi: An auto driver called a friend and said that he was going to commit suicide by jumping into the lake
Now the search is on for him.
Praveen Pinto, a rickshaw driver in Belthangadi, is suspected to have jumped into the Guruvayanakere lake. Friends who received Praveen's call came to the lake and found Praveen's slippers and Aadhaar card on the side of Guruwayanakere lake.
Now locals, fire brigade, volunteers and police are searching for Praveen, suspecting that Praveen may have jumped into the lake. It is said that the search is becoming a bit challenging due to the high water level in the lake.
